Students in grades 7–11 can improve their knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI), mathematics and programming in a new AI project based at the Sirius educational center. Any student from any Russian school, regardless of region, can take part in the project.

Free training is provided thanks to the federal project “Artificial Intelligence” of the national project “Digital Economy” and includes 18 online courses on AI and related disciplines, as well as project programs for schoolchildren.

“Each course is a set of training modules that form a “knowledge map”. Students move along the “map” as they receive credits for modules. Throughout the training, support is provided to the students by support specialists who help the students master the materials. The specialists are both experienced teachers and students – masters and postgraduates of the country’s leading universities,” said Anton Gusev, CEO of ANO Sirius.Technologies, coordinator of the project for teaching schoolchildren AI.

According to him, in each module, schoolchildren will find video lectures with short notes, exercises with automatic checking and advanced tasks for independent solution, which are accompanied by video analysis from teachers. After successful completion of the course, students receive an electronic certificate.

The children are also invited to create their own project based on tasks that will come from curators – specialized Russian companies. The authors of the best projects will have the opportunity to participate in a face-to-face AI shift at Sirius.
